Where are we???

It's been a very overwhelming day. We successfully got thru the airport thanks to many people crowding around us and walking us thru. Just as I thought things were better than expected, we drove thru town to our retreat center. I had to cry after the drive because it is a completely different world. And I still have doubts... Can I actually survive this week? Luckily we are all supporting each other and will continue to ask gods blessing over us and our work.

The retreat center also feels like another world. Gated breezier and welcoming we have showers water food. So I'll be taking it day by day.

Thanks for the love and support from afar.

Beth

  1. Hang in there, Beth. I know you can do it. We'll keep praying that God's grace will be a sure foundation for you as you take it one day, one minute, one person at a time. Through Christ, you have the strength to move mountains, so trust in Him and let Him carry your burdens.

  2. Beth, God gave you a heart of compassion for a reason. He will show you the way. You're in my prayers today as you were 22 years ago on your 'first' mission trip! I'm so proud of you. One day, one moment, one prayer at a time. I love you!

  3. Beth and all, we're holding you up in prayer. Peter was able to walk on water because he kept his eyes on Jesus, and even when he looked around and started to sink, Jesus reached down and pulled him up. He is there now with you guys holding you up.

Remember when we were in Philadelphia walking down what we felt was a pretty scary neighborhood? A woman came by and said, "God bless you" and I said that was an angel, sent to encourage us, and all fear left us, and we were able to move on. God wll send you His angels once again just at the right time when you need encouragement.
We love you and are praying for you all,
    Aimee
